Orange County Personal Trainers Weight Loss Motivation

We are well into our second month in 2011 and man, it’s going by way too fast! Have you taken any risks yet? I’m not talking jumping off a building, stealing from a liquor store or trying to see who can drink the most on a night out either. I’m talking risks that can potentially make your greater, move you further in life…

We all have points in our life where we hit a wall, a setback, a speed bump or get knocked down. To some it happens over and over again, does that mean we should quit? Should we just move onto something else or just give up?

I’ll be honest, I’ve been there…I tried multiple things and every single one went wrong. I spent countless hours on things and they failed, I worked on the same thing over and over and it just didn’t work. I was almost defeated…I then called a friend/mentor of mine and in one conversation he he gave me that hope again that drive to keep pushing and keep moving forward. After that I remembered what was driving me and why I’m here and what my purpose is. I’m very thankful to have a mentor like that in my life because sometimes we need someone else to tell us “stop making excuses, stay focused, keep working hard, don’t feel sorry for yourself, you’re meant to be great so keep moving forward”

A few things I picked up when talking to him and a few things I learned along the way which made me change my mindset and turn it back on again and get back on track are below. If they work for you…great, if not…well at least I tried :). I’m still have a long ways to go but I know what my purpose is and I know where I’m headed and I will do whatever it takes to get there. Nothing can stop me.

-Stay focused

-Surround yourself with people you want to be like

-It’s not easy..if it were, everyone would be doing it

-The only reason people are more successful than you are because they have made more mistakes than you

-Figure out what your core values are

-Figure out what you want in life and go for it

-Take MASSIVE action
