Orange County Boot Camp Shows You How To Avoid The Same Old, Boring Foods

Tired of eating the same foods every week, here are some foods that are nutritional powerhouses that you probably didn’t know about.

Bamboo Shoots: these are low in calories and have antioxidants protect against free radicals that can cause cancer.  Tip: Try adding these to salads, soups and stir fries.

Swiss Chard: this is packed with potassium which helps avoid muscles cramps.  Tip: Try having it as side dish, sauté with some extra virgin olive oil and your choice of flavor(i.e. garlic)

Kiwis: these help strengthen your immune system with vitamin C; kiwis contain more vitamin C than oranges, grapefruit, or strawberries. Tip: Try topping a salad or some Greek yogurt with kiwi for a tasty treat.
