This week we’re sharing a story about a client who at first hated working out, worked crazy hours and wanted nothing to do with the gym or waking up early. She even quit NL before when she wasn’t seeing the change she wanted.
Until she was committed to her goals…
Since starting she’s produced amazing results, wakes up to train at 5 am with Alan and is obsessed with the process. We’re all happy she’s a part of the NL family and I’m excited to share her story below 🙂 oh yah, she wore a two piece to the beach this weekend and loved it!
Here’s Dorian below…
No Limit and the amazing trainers there have completely changed my life. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a condition that affects the body’s ability to regenerate red blood cells. I was constantly tired; I had migraines; and random pain in my body. Walking up the stairs was chore and even doing dishes was difficult. My doctors were convinced that I needed either a blood transfusion or a bone marrow transplant. After speaking with a specialist, he said that I needed to lose weight and change my diet in order to avoid these invasive procedures.
When I started with no limit, I was ready to do something about my weight but I wasn’t really ready to make all of the changes that were necessary. I worked out, but I ate what I wanted and was shocked when I didn’t see results. While I did leave No Limit, I was struck by the amazing community that they had. A year later, when I was ready to make a commitment to a healthy lifestyle, it was that same community that called me back.
When I started training with Alan Malkin, it was hard! But he pushed me exactly the way that I needed to be pushed. I never felt discouraged. If I couldn’t do something he’d give me something else to do. When I wanted to quit or get tired, I had an entire gym full of people encouraging me the entire way through my workout. I have an entire network of people to get cardio ideas from and I’ve gained new friends to share in my new healthy lifestyle.
I’m getting stronger every day! I’ve reached my weight loss goal and have stopped focusing on the scale and more on my strength and endurance. More importantly, I look better in my clothes and I’m far more confident in my business and my life in general. I’m even taking pictures of myself, which I haven’t done in years.
Working out isn’t a chore anymore. It’s part of my routine. The people at No Limit are really like family and I know I have support no matter what I’m trying to accomplish. I’ve come such a long way and I can’t thank my No Limit Family enough for being on this journey with me.
