Before No Limit my life was all about soccer. When I tore my ACL, junior year of high school, my priorities started to change. I was still working out every day at LA Fitness, but it was the same old boring workout routine. I was just maintaining my body. During this time I was eating whatever and was going out partying 3 times a week (a lot of late night Del Taco runs). I didn’t like the way I looked and I had zero confidence in myself. I pretty much felt like the ugly duckling out of my family and friends. I didn’t feel or look at myself as being an attractive young lady. I knew I wasn’t a small girl, but I didn’t know how to change my body. I just continued my same routine workout, partied, and being unhappy with myself.

I’ve known Sako for a very long time. He went to high school with my brother and sister so he’s pretty much seen me grow up since elementary school. I started working out at No Limit back when it first started in 2009 at the parks. I fell in love with it! The first 2 weeks when I started boot camp it kicked my booty, but I continued to go to boot camp every day. The running and lifting started to get easier and easier the more I went and I was starting to see results. I was still partying at this time.
After a few months I hit a plateau again so I talked to Sako about why I wasn’t seeing anymore results. Sako sat down with me and went over a meal plan and the biggest thing of all he told me was to cut down the drinking. At 21 years olds I’m like this guy is crazy, but I told myself alright I’ll try it for 4 weeks and sure enough HE WAS RIGHT!! (Thank You Sako!) I noticed a big difference with how I felt and looked. I had more energy throughout the day and during workouts my recovery time was getting quicker and I was moving up to heavier weights. I was eating healthy and drinking less. I was getting stronger physically and mentally. Most importantly I was starting to feel happy with myself.

All of the No Limit trainers are amazing, and very encouraging! The trainers are there to help you with whatever you need. You can ask any of the trainers’ questions about meal plans, stretches, injury pain, correct form, or ideas on how to change up your workouts. They are all willing, wanting, motivating, and care about helping you reach your goals. I’ve been with No Limit for a long time so I have to thank the past trainers for pushing me in the beginning of my earlier boot camp days. You guys were the ones who started my new healthy habits and I just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Of course, being with No Limit for so long I’ve hit some bumpy roads, but No Limit has always been there to pick me right back up again.
The trainers notice when you haven’t been to boot camp or if you’re having one too many cheat meals. That is what happens when you’re friends with your trainers on your Facebook and Instagram. The trainers will call you out, but they do it in a positive way because they want you to hit your goals.
When you step a foot through those doors you really are a part of a family. The atmosphere is so great! I guarantee you one of the trainers or clients will make you smile or laugh during your workout. I know there have been times I’ve come into No Limit in a funky mood, but by the end of my workout I’m in a happier mood. We also have awesome, friendly, and motivating clients. We are all here for the same thing is to hit our own personal goals and live a healthier life style. I have gained some really great friendships being a part of No Limit.

I’m 26 years old now and I’ve been doing boot camps at No Limit for 6 years now. In January, it’s going to be a year since I stepped up my fitness level when I switched over to the personal trainer side at No Limit. My fabulous trainer Briana has helped me so much with building my confidence and transforming my body to where I thought I could never look lean. My challenges in the beginning at personal training was slowing down, (boot camp is at a faster pace) getting my form right, upper body strength, and to stop being afraid of trying new things (like jumping on and off the treadmill). Briana is very encouraging and motivating. She explains everything that we do and how it’s going to help me get better to hit my over all goals. I love training with Briana because I know she cares about all her clients and she’s fun to be around. Her positive energy makes you want to work hard for her and yourself. Briana, THANK YOU SO MUCH for being an amazing trainer and friend! Since doing personal training I’ve lost weight, inches, and body fat. We have done two 8 week challenges. I won the 1st challenge and came 2nd on the other one.
I have gotten so much better on my form, I can lift heavier, my upper body strength has gotten way better, cardio has gotten easier, and I’m not afraid to try new things. It use to take me forever to notice changes in my body, but going from boot camps to personal training I finally see what everyone else sees.

I’m so proud of myself. I’m doing things that I thought I would never be able to do. No Limit has been my happy place for so many years and I’m so thankful for being a part of this family. Thank you to all the trainers for being so good to me! I am now proud to say I’m stronger, have confidence in myself and happy with the way I look now. Strong is the New Beautiful. I can now actually say that I’m a strong beautiful woman!
