Karen Lindblom Shares Her Story

Before I came to No Limit, after Kristen bought me a month pass for Christmas, I was working out a few days a week but she told me I wasn’t working very hard and just going through the motions. I had been told a few months earlier that my cholesterol was over 200 and needed to eat better and exercise more.

I found out what hard exercise was when we started No Limit in March, 2014.  Going to boot camps every morning at 530 am was hard and I did not even think I would make it through one month.  I was sore and tired.  After the first three months I could not believe I made it.  I got my cholesterol down to 188 in that short amount of time.  My doctor was pleased and wanted me to continue on this exercise program.

Even though I thought I was eating pretty well, in September I was encouraged by Kristen, who said I was not eating well, to take part in the challenge at No Limit to lose some weight.  With the help of Sako, my trainer and owner of No Limit, my daughter Kristen, and having a group to be accountable to, I was able to cold turkey give up diet coke, limit sugar and salt and make consistently better food choices.  I ended up losing 4% body fat and almost 10 pounds during the 8 week challenge and our team came in second place.  I am thrilled with the progress I have made so far and plan to continue on this same path.  I can’t wait to see if my cholesterol has come down more when I go to the doctors in February.

I am thankful at finding No Limit because everyone is very nice and the boot camp classes make exercise fun and different all time, and I actually look forward to exercise.  Without it, I would probably be stuck spinning my wheels and getting nowhere!
