“I was at my heaviest, not pregnant, weight. Over 200 pounds.”

There were a lot of things that aligned up at the time I signed up for No Limit. I was at my heaviest, not pregnant, weight. Over 200 pounds. My doctor told me that she was concerned about my liver numbers. I told her how much I drank. Needless to say she wasn’t too happy with my answer. I guess its not ok to drink a bottle of wine by yourself. I also told her about my son who has CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and how he will need a transplant one day. I told her that I would be his kidney donor. She said they wouldn’t take me because I am not healthy. My friends and family know that drinking is my thing. 1st birthday party? Lets drink! Baby shower? Lets drink! The suns out! Lets drink! There was absolutely no way I would not be Coles’ donor. So I stopped drinking (ok 95% stopped drinking), changed my diet and exercise daily.

I was at another boot camp before No Limit. I was there for a year. I gained weight in that year. I definitely WAS NOT fit at all but I felt like I wasn’t being challenged there. It was the same workout day after day in a small room. After my year was up, I couldn’t get myself to sign up for another year. Something was missing. I couldn’t pin point what it was at the time but I knew something was wrong when I was gaining weight.

“When I saw Alex, my first thought was “wow! This chick is so strong! I want to be like her”.”

When I saw Alex, my first thought was “wow! This chick is so strong! I want to be like her”. There was something about how she ran her boot camp classes. She knows what she is talking about. So when she left my old boot camp, I had to follow her. She knows what she is doing so if she is going to a different boot camp, that boot camp must be better. I went to the No Limit website and signed up for the 14 day trial.

Working out at No Limit doesn’t feel like a workout. Its so fun. The trainers are so fun, friendly and amazing. The people that come here are so awesome too. Everyone is so friendly. I have so much fun working out. I have so much getting sore. I have so much fun getting exhausted. I look forward to waking up at 4:30am to get ready to go workout. I didn’t before. Boot camp starts at 5:30am, I wouldn’t wake up until 5am and I would have to drag myself out of bed and convince myself to go. I would tell myself I was wasting money if I didn’t go to boot camp everyday. I met really great people but it was missing something. But now, I usually always wake up before my alarm goes off. I am so happy and excited to go workout. Not a week goes by where I am not sore. The workouts are always different. Working out here made losing weight and being on a diet bearable. I look around and see all the strong women here and I want to be like them.

As of March 17, I have lost 35 pounds and I started No Limit at the end of November 2015. I am fitting into clothes that I haven’t worn in years! Cole’s kidneys are still functioning right now. His nephrologists do not know when he will need the transplant, but when he does I want to make sure that my kidneys and I are in tip top shape and as healthy as I can be. Sorry if my story isn’t so inspiring. I hope that no one at No Limit can relate to potentially being an organ donor to their child/children. But that’s my story and that’s why I happily workout 7 days a week.

Something I would tell someone who’s on the fence of getting started is watch the No Limit video and just sign up for the 14 days free trial. Its freaking free to try! Everyone here is seriously so nice. NL is the best bootcamp.
