Before coming to No Limit, I was bored with my workouts, unmotivated to consistently eat clean, and I was extremely tired. Most weekdays, I would come home from work and literally go straight to bed. Life was stressful and I was tired of being tired all the time. I needed energy and I needed to feel good again. I realized the only way I was going to be able to achieve my personal and career goals was to make the lifestyle change and get healthy!
I’m a regular in the 5:30am boot camp classes and for the past year I’ve attended boot camp consistently 5 days a week. The people in the 5:30am class really motivate me to show up and do my best. Everyone is encouraging and supportive.
Over the past year, I’ve lost 15 pounds and over 10% body fat. I have a ton of energy and I feel great. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. I owe much of my success to Jeff and his awesome coaching. Jeff is very passionate about his job and has played a big part in motivating me to get in shape. Jeff always notices when your form is off (or if you’re just being lazy) and he will correct you again and again until you improve. The boot camp workouts are always different and always challenging. One thing Jeff has taught me is that every exercise can be done a little bit better.
The biggest challenge on my journey has been my continued commitment to eating clean. Working out is the fun part but the real hard work is in the kitchen. It takes a lot of time and effort to meal prep week after week. Overtime, my mindset on meal prepping has evolved. I no longer see meal prepping as a giant cooking nightmare but I believe cooking and preparing healthy meals is one of the highest forms of self-love. Twice a year, No Limit hosts a weight loss challenge and I’m a big fan of participating in these events. It really helps to stay focused on eating well and being consistent with your workouts.
I’m honored to be acknowledged for my progress and I honestly couldn’t have done it without everyone at No Limit so BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE. I’m addicted to No Limit and I can’t wait to smash my next set of fitness goals.
